WANWEI 5111 L
[Introduction]
WANWEI 5111 L is a dispersible polymer powder for dry mix mortars, specifically suited for self-leveling flooring compounds and screeds. It is based on a hard copolymer of vinylacetate and ethylene and belongs to the product class WANWEI L which means that it improves the leveling and surface properties as well the stabilization of the fresh mortar.Cured mortars with WANWEI 5111 L have improved adhesion, flexural strength, deformability and abrasion resistance.
[Properties]
• WANWEI 5111 L is a copolymer powder of vinyl acetate and ethylene and is dispersible in water.
• As a polymeric binder WANWEI 5111 L will provide very good workability to the fresh mortar.
• Cured mortars with WANWEI 5111 L have improved adhesion, flexural strength, deformability and abrasion resistance.
• WANWEI 5111 L is a dispersible hard polymer powder and greatly enhances leveling. It contains a fine mineral filler as an antiblocking agent and is produced without the use of organic solvents, plasticizers and film-forming agents.
• WANWEI 5111 L is especially advantageous in combination with synthetic superplasticizers or casein for the production of self-leveling flooring compounds and screeds.
• Special features of WANWEI 5111 L are its very good defoaming properties even without additional defoamer in the mortar formulation. This results in exceptionally smooth, uniform surfaces without air bubbles while also offering high abrasion resistance, flexural and compressive strength.
• Furthermore it allows self-leveling flooring compounds to be formulated with a low content of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
• The product thus can be used to produce self-leveling flooring compounds conforming to strict eco-labeling requirements.
• Additionally WANWEI 5111 L greatly enhances leveling at low viscosity.

[Storage]
During storage, protect the product from contact with moisture. Prolonged storage at temperatures above 30 °C, especially in combination with pressure, humidity or exposure to sunlight, may result in blocking. Carefully seal any open containers and store them under suitable conditions. We recommend storing the product in a warehouse that provides cool and dry conditions. Do not store the product for more than six months, starting from the date at which it was received, unless the Certificate of Analysis contains a different date, which would take precedence. If the product is stored longer than recommended, it may still be used but users are advised to verify the properties required for the intended use.
