In addition to the annual output of ethylene glycol 300,000 tons, the project can also produce 41,200 tons of sulfuric acid, 432 tons of pre-distillate, 8992 tons of fusel oil, and 13,400 tons of light distillate. It is a key coal chemical construction project in Guizhou Province.

On the evening of June 7 local time, a heavy transport truck delivered the new reactor to BASF's TDI plant in Ludwigshafen. BASF plans to put the new reactor into service in the second quarter of 2018 (by the end of June). With it, the plant is on track to achieve an annual output of 300,000 tons of TDI.
